Overview

As with any development, an algae biofuels project can become the subject of litigation in state and federal courts.  Litigation can involve any of the topics discussed in previous chapters, as well as a host of other disputes that may develop during the life of the project.  Anticipating what disputes may arise and proactively planning for their resolution, whether through litigation or otherwise, will increase the odds of a favorable result.  This chapter outlines some issues to consider that may help circumvent problems and discusses potential areas of dispute in the development and operation of an algae biofuels project.
